The 4th National Mars Science Seminar will be held on October 28th, 2022 in Krakow as a hybrid event. Registration will be open on August 8th, 2022. The 4NMSS will consist of 2 parts: a scientific session (oral and poster presentations) and a workshop session titled “Aeolian processes in space exploration – perspectives”.

The official language of the seminar is English.
Aim of the seminar
- To present achievements of Polish scientists
- To integrate the Polish community of Mars scientists
- To develop planetary and space science in Poland
Scope
Topics of interest for submission include, but are not limited to:
- estimation of Mars orbital parameters and global properties of the planet
- nearest cosmic neighborhood of Mars
- study of Mars planetary spheres: magnetospheres, ionospheres, atmosphere, lithosphere, hydrosphere, and the interior of the planet
including research results based on:
- data from current and past Mars missions
- new research methods and tools for future Mars exploration
- theoretical modeling and numerical simulations in Mars studies
- laboratory simulations and studies of Mars analogs
